APCF’s mission is to cultivate philanthropists to invest in organizations that empower underserved Asian and Pacific Islanders (API) to prosper. APCF is focused on transforming lives and meeting the diverse needs of APIs by:

In 2024, APCF and our Network of 81 nonprofits annually provide a wide range of multicultural and multilingual supportive services in 43 API languages (in addition to English and Spanish) to nearly over million low-income individuals in southern California.

While serving a niche population that is underserved due to language and cultural barriers, many API nonprofits are often under resourced, underfunded, and understaffed, facing unstable funding and lacking financial reserves and other resources related to capacity and infrastructure.

APCF serves over 1.25 million APIs community members throughout the 10 counties of Southern California whom 82% are low income.

This population includes youth, families, seniors and more!

APCF supports the capacity of health services, food security, art and culture.

APCF believes that Asian & Pacific Islander (API) communities are best served by strong API nonprofits that speak their language and offer culturally relevant programs.

Since many of these organizations are under-resourced, underfunded, and often understaffed, APCF provides financial assistance in the form of traditional grant making and provides capacity building support to numerous API nonprofits.

APIs are the 3rd largest ethnic group in LA County

You can support the greater API community by:

- Participate in workplace giving and designating APCF as your choice of nonprofit!

- Learn more about APCFs network agencies

- Volunteer with a local API nonprofit
